Though rainy weather interferred with our actual trek up the Wash to commemorate pioneer day, we did have a successful event on July 21. The first 24 to come were given pioneer scarfs to wear. Sister Robrecht orchestrated a rousing pioneer day baseball game, where players were thrown questions. Posted by Ganado Granny. Posted by Ganado Granny.

Notes and news from the Phoenix Arizona Mission where we served from Nov. 2007 through April 22, 2009. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. What do these people have in common? And how did our Ganado History discover the connection? Susan and Larnie Higgins. About a week after I had submitted the book to the publisher, we had a chance to speak in Sacrament meeting in Steamboat, our neighboring branch 20 miles west. While there, I mentioned about our history project, and told them the story of Monte Higgins, an...

Notes and news from the Phoenix Arizona Mission where we served from Nov. 2007 through April 22, 2009. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Tender mercies- daily blessings: Corey heads to College. Corey and his sister Nisha work on scholarship applications. You can see the kind of young man Corey is, by his friendly countenance. The Jeppson's: Hiking the Red Buttes
http://jeppsonators.blogspot.com/2009/05/hiking-red-buttes.html
Saturday, May 23, 2009. Hiking the Red Buttes. What a beautiful evening! The kids were happy, the weather was mild, the flowers were in bloom, and we got to spend some time as a whole family. I really have to cherish these moments, they don't come as often as I'd like. Today, we went up to the Red Butte Gardens, (never actually been inside the gardens, but they have a great trail system above them). Dogs are even allowed OFF leash. May 24, 2009 at 6:49 AM. That is quite the load! May 26, 2009 at 4:05 PM.

Yeah mine is still in DIAPERS! May 18, 2009 at 3:42 PM. It is so hard to know what to do. It may be an attention thing, or it may be he is a boy. Here...Isaac...
