Monday, August 31, 2009. Every year in Suffolk we build a float for the Thorpeness carnival on the Meare. This year we took the theme from the MP's expenses - the duck house! At night, all lit up! My nephew Rufus mdelling the duck costume! All the nine Gane cousins! FINAL WEEK BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS! Now I am busy thinking about school and all the planning that I need to do. Monday, June 29, 2009. Went to see Take That in the rain! What an amazing show! Got so wet but had the best night! Nearly the end of term-its been ages since I added news-spend too much time on facebook! Had a really busy few weeks and actually been quite socialable aswell! Had a great girlie weekend in London with all my Leamington friends and then a camping carribean party up in north wales to celebrate my friends Petras 50th! Sadly he failed and left last week. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Remembering a beautiful friend. Last weekend my gorgous friend lost her brave and courageous battle with cancer. As I struggle to come to terms with her loss I remember our wonderful weekend in Venice in 2003! Wendy, me and Tracey. Wendy and Tracey, two of my bestest friends ever. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. All the staff and us. Lovely uniforms! The rope bridge walk through the tree at Kankum national park! The school trip to Cape Coast-our last day! Sunday, April 12, 2009. Switzerland, Saas Fee. I have just had a fantastic week in the mountains with two friends and 7 children, the sun shone, the snow on the glacier was amazing and we had lots of fun! Em didn't come she caught a train to her grandma's in Suffolk with a friend. It was her first experience of the London underground! View down the valley-we skiied down the path into the village. Three Mums take 7 children skiing. The glacier at 3500 m. Harry and his friend Gabriel.

Monday, May 25, 2009. What a busy few weeks, non stop! The term began with a job interview which sadly I didn't get although it was a good experience and has opened a few doors at school and else where. It was a lovely school and I would have been very happy working there, maybe something else might come up! Then Joseph from Ghana came over to school-it was his first trip outside Ghana and we had a lovely day out in London and a flight on the London Eye. A visit to Mum and Dad's in Oxfordshire.

Sunday, January 18, 2009. Emily is 15 today! She had all her lovely, gorgous friends to sleep over on Friday night, Tim served them cocktails and then they went out for a pizza. I bought a cake as a surprise which Phoebe spoilt by telling her! Been an exhausting weekend of birthdays, sleepovers, friends, lots and lots of cooking and drinking.
