July 4th, 2008 @ Third Avenue. Kent Couch’s Wild Ride →. July 5th, 2008 @ Third Avenue. July 6, 2008. The wind was a bit stronger today. I got out a bit earlier and rode for about 1.5 hours. I picked up where I left off yesterday in terms of jumping. While I’m able to use the kite to lift off of the water, I haven’t really been able to. Off of the water like all of the really skilled jumpers do. I talked to my friend Clint after my session and he gave me a few tips to try next time. And tagged 3rd Ave.
