Sunday, January 31, 2010. Processing.js – String: equals() (or: how I filled something in on the way). Open source development is like driving on a road with potholes where every driver also happens to be a road worker. One day you may just get fed up with driving over the same crater over and over again and decide to do something about it in the most direct way possible: stop the car, get out, and fill it in yourself. Well, on the way to giving nf(). How the road looks now. So here's how it looks in Pjs.

So this semester's reading week has come and gone and once again, as is the familiar post-mortem assessment, I have discovered the ratio of “useful" to “superfluous" work done is heavily biased toward the latter. On the Processing.js. Pjs) front we have more baby steps! Don't mind if I do. Variables, and have since returned to working on the Pjs library variables. In my previous post. Some code by Andrew Peace. And even ...

Monday, September 28, 2009. My Kingdom for a Patch? This blog post is brought to us by the letter P. And the number 6. And today's topic is “patching". “. Alas the written word doesn't do justice to the beginning of each. Possum Lodge Word Game. The first thing to do was hunt for a patch for my Minefield build. I headed over to the Firefox Builds. S seemingly endless series on the rise and fall of the nightly trunk builds, I picked out recently resolved bug 424517. After some rebuilding I prodded open my...

Friday, November 20, 2009. ZOMG finally connected to a Mac from Windows 7 using VNC. I know this is out of left field for everyone except me, but I like doing little side endeavors to spice things up. For a lot of people this probably seems like a no brainer, and if it is, then you can stop reading because this is just me patting myself on the back. You will need the following:. I used realVNC on a windows 32bit system) other OS’s use their download page. In destination enter 127.0.0.1:5900. Note When yo...

Processing.js: 0.2 Release

http://tyrant911-processingdotjs.blogspot.com/2009/11/testing.html

Saturday, November 21, 2009. Unlike my 0.1 which was very late, I’m going to go against my way of being, which is submitting things only when I think they are 100% working or good enough to show. I found out today that Edward Sin. Submitted a function called HashMap (I didn’t even know he was in the class still.). That so happens to be the same function I posted about on Nov. 12, 2009 on my blog. The functions I will take credit for on my 0.2 release are:. SaveBytes() –Setting Sunday as goal. Subscribe t...

Processing.js: Starting 0.2 with reverse()

http://tyrant911-processingdotjs.blogspot.com/2009/11/starting-02-with-reverse.html

Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Starting 0.2 with reverse(). So far this reverse. Function is as easy as it sounds. Take an array and flip it around so that the first element becomes the last and vice versa. For the most part it’s done, but I get bothered by little things. For example on the processing page, reverse. Displays the array but with no comma (,) separator EX:. String sa[] = { "OH ", "NY ", "MA ", "CA "}; sa = reverse(sa); print(sa); / Prints "CA MA NY OH ". The output should be: BMWVolvoSaab :(.

Processing.js: Back to processing ^^

http://tyrant911-processingdotjs.blogspot.com/2009/11/back-to-processing.html

Friday, November 20, 2009. I spoke with Andor and he showed me why it's in my best interest to save doing 3d functions for 0.3. After going over the Mozilla Wiki Tasklist. I started freaking out. OMG all the easy functions to work on are gone. Noooo! Mashing face on keyboard*. Then I got a bit positive and seen functions like:. None of the above functions were implemented into processing except loadStrings(). I'm guessing this is about the point visitors lose interest / posting picture*. I told em my ide...
