Tina Rathore's Poetry Blog. Between the Conception and the Creation, Between the Emotion and the Response, Falls the Shadow Thomas Stearns Eliot, The Hollow Men. Here’s a list of book reviews of the books I loved and enjoyed reading. When we list our favorite books and recommend it to others, one of the most important questions that surface is: what makes the book so special? Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Calling Sehmat By Harrinder. S. Sikka. Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. Top Girls by Caryl Churchill.

What it takes to be Number One.. | A Mirror of My Thoughts!

A Mirror of My Thoughts! This page tracks all those reflections on lazy chair, musings on a rainy day when an idealistic dreamer is at work. What it takes to be Number One. I read this today and I want to tuck this forever. Below speech by Vince. Is what I exactly would wish to hear if I am facing a football match.🙂. 8212;—————————–. And in truth, I’ve never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn’t appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is somet...A cup of coff...

A Mirror of My Thoughts! This page tracks all those reflections on lazy chair, musings on a rainy day when an idealistic dreamer is at work. For my Happy Box! One of those tiny little moments that make my life. Conversations with my daughter (in mother tongue Telugu)…. Me: Lakshya, what sound does crow make? Me: Good. Now tell me how does a Dog sound like? Now tell me what does Cuckoo say? Lakshya: Coo – Coo (almost singing). Me: (Almost wishful.) What does Lakshya say? Need I say more? For my Happy Box!

Life as it happens to me. Newer posts →. Signs of growing up? August 8, 2011. I must have grown up somewhere down the line. And I didn’t even notice it till today when I went for a blood test all by myself. Like all alone. And I didn’t freak out. Not when I reached the hospital, not when the nurse made me wait and not even when she ushered me into the room. 4 days into the big 3 and all looks ok! July 18, 2011. Yep, it does. I am intact. No crumbling has happened. No arthritis has shown up...If only, ...

Life as it happens to me. VAWAM – The Silent Worker. It’s here, it’s here, it’s here! VAWAM Of the girl who lost her life to dowry. October 24, 2011. I have never spoken about this on my blog. And with a lot of pain I do so now. As part of the VAWAM initiative, I was tweeting about Dowry Deaths and Bride Burning a couple of days back. I was researching cases and collecting facts, only to be left teary eyed. The truth remains; we do live in a barbaric society. How will a complete shift in mindset happen?

Life as it happens to me. Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Month (CSAAM) April 2012 is here. For the sake of posterity. March 26, 2012. It’s a weird feeling. The way my life has turned out to be. Fifteen years ago if someone would have told me this is what I would be doing today, I would have gaped hard, not believing a single word. But then this is how I am today. I saw frayed nerves and I saw a few lines of worry but I also saw someone with an objective and an agenda. When did I become like that? I have no...
