It is helping that I am at home, with a medium cold.) After a turbulent time thinking we have to leave our cosy flat it seems like we could stay a while longer - they will raise our rent but by an acceptable amount. Karina and me had already started to look for a flat, but then the good news about mine and her stay back home in Germany came in between and now it seems we have gone back to the start. I had already hinted it to some of you when we were phoning or e-mailing - my company has offered me a proper job, starting at the beginning of August! It's not 100% fix yet though, but if everything works out as planned, I will sign the contract in May or June. :-). No need to go back to Austria and start fighting for one of the spare jobs for graduates. I do miss my family and friends, my cats, and the city...

The fear was immense, and I passed a bad moment when the guy who was on before me nearly fainted when he came out. On the occasion of Girid and Andrew being here for the U2 gig weekend, it was time for appreciating the most outstanding architectural masterpieces Antoni Gaudí (1852 - 1926) left across the city of Barcelona - the Sagrada Familia (planned and partly constructed by and with guidance of Gaudí and not yet finished - the works are still under way, and the scheduled date being for finalization is 2030!
