Waking Life: September 2009
http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 13, 2009. A while ago I mentioned that I was making a baby carrier. Well, I realized I never posted any photos, and now I've made two! After making the first one I had to make a few pattern adjustments, and I think the second one came out much nicer (although you probably won't be able to tell anything from the pictures). You can use these from birth up to about 35lbs (if you can carry 35lbs! This is one that someone asked me to make for them. With the hood down. Toby going for a ride!

Waking Life: A Poem a Day
http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2010/03/poem-day.html
Tuesday, March 16, 2010. A Poem a Day. We are trying to start a habit of reading a poem a day at lunchtime. This was today's. Elinore thought it was funny. I thought it was worth sharing. The Blind Men and the Elephant. It was six men of Indostan. To learning much inclined,. Who went to see the Elephant. Though all of them were blind),. That each by observation. Might satisfy his mind. Approached the Elephant,. And happening to fall. Against his broad and sturdy side,. At once began to bawl:. And all wer...

Waking Life: January 2010
http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. This was her absolute highlight of Christmas! 5 Kevin begged and begged so much for a cover for his air compressor (in the garage) long after I decided to make him one, that I appliqued a pink heart on it as a joke! I'll try and put some updated photos on soon. This month has been a good break after the rush of the holidays. Be warm, wherever you are! Friday, January 01, 2010. Here are some pictures from 2009. Summing up a year. The Passing of the Year. Out peal the bells!

Grandma's House: October 2005
http://phelps257.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 30, 2005. Hey gang, just wanted to quick let you know that Tom starts another round of chemo tonight. It lasts about five days and is awful. It'd be great if we could all pray for him over the next few days. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for him. Posted by Jared Henderson at 5:13 PM. Friday, October 28, 2005. Posted by MelissaLB at 2:46 PM. Thursday, October 27, 2005. It seems like all I've heard from the Lord in a week and I want to grab hold of it. Posted by karen at 3:55 PM.

Grandma's House: August 2005
http://phelps257.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Sound's like Jared is getting ready for a homecoming visit to his alma matter. I, on the other hand will not be in attendence, nor do I desire to watch those pesky Pirates get smoked again. Look there goes a Novi runner for a touchdown! I still carry prejudice against those men in tights from my days of getting made fun of for playing soccer. I think today (now about my students) what I thought then, "You guys are dorks.". Grandma's House: May 2006

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. So my sister, who many of you know, got married this weekend! You already saw the lovely green Holland contingent who came along to celebrate, much to my pleasure. This was a very big event for my family. It feels like we've waited a while for something really great to happen. Cody is really a godsend and so perfect for my sister. Randall served well as "head greeter", and although unfortunately, Cruiser could not be incorporated into the wedding (Cody put his foot down), the who...

Waking Life: September 2010
http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 08, 2010. I have been contemplating for some time about whether to continue this blog. It was begun as a means to communicate with family that does not live in town, and that has been the only reason I have kept up with it for so long. In order to be more available to my family and on the computer less, I have decided to discontinue blogging. GASP! For now, anyway. Instead I hope to send out emails with pictures a few times a year (maybe quarterly? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://jwolt.blogspot.com/2010/03/another-good-oone.html
Wednesday, March 24, 2010. I was so excited to see a post by KEVIN that I just had to come over and take a look! I knew some of this already, but this really lays it out there - just wish watching this little video could be homework for every American (to be followed by one regarding plastic bags and plastic in general, dont get me started! Like it. Glad to see you online, Kev! I just saw Kevin on the news! Looks like you guys got a lot more that GR! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Poem a Day.
