Tuesday, March 15, 2011. So, after 3 ultrasounds, at 3 different points in the pregnancy, by 2 different people we are finally announcing that IT'S A GIRL! We had our big 'mid-way' ultrasound today and SHE wasn't cooperating very well, but the ultrasound tech was able to get one quick picture that shows what my boys have said all along. After telling us that saw girl, she said "but have your dr. look again, just to be sure." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Do you know who you're dealing with?

Amazingly, I'm posting the pictures I promised. ;) We had a great Halloween, but after getting 3 boys in/out of costumes about 5 times, I'm ready to be done with it for a year. I made Kaleb's and Kason's costumes and Kaden's Tigger costume has been worn by all three of my boys (as well as their older cousin). Enjoy! November 3, 2010 at 3:49 PM. What awesome costumes. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. I don't feel like I've ever been very good at speaking to them on their level and in the terms that make sense to them. As a result, I've probably talked (or yelled) AT them far more than I've communicated with. It all makes me rather sad some days. And yet. I happen to believe that there is grace enough (and to spare) for parents who are willing to try and keep trying. So I keep trying. What do you do to build your children up? How do you help them move along toward worthy goals?
