Monday, August 27, 2012. First Day of School: Second Grade. I say this every year but I seriously can't believe my kiddo is in 2nd grade! She is getting so grown up I can't believe it. The Least Pampered Chef. Friday, April 26, 2013. Each child in Law's class chose one animal and one insect to study over the past couple weeks. They filled a field journal with pictures and facts they'd learned. Then had a class program today. Ashtyn, Grey, Grandma and Grandpa Newman, and I got to go watch :). The Least Pampered Chef. Friday, February 15, 2013. Valentine's day was great. I woke up and made cole some one-eyed bun-yups for breakfast. Lol don't think about it too hard I'm pretty sure my father-in-law made that up. I made french toast with a heart cut-out with fried egg inside). It always feels good to send him off to work with a full belly :). Then some friends came over early and I made everyone heart pancakes and hung out. Everything on our date turned out bad. Chinese take-out and a movie.

The Least Pampered Chef. Saturday, January 17, 2015. We closed on our new house and got it all cleaned up. THEN the movers came.Let's not talk about it. We've had a lot of adventures so far. Finding all sorts of animals. And having a REALLY cute face to convince your mom to keep it. Ashtyn celebrated her 4th bday! We've visited A TON of farms and orchards. Made a couple friends. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I can't believe how quickly Kennadee's first year of school went by! When I look back at the start of her year she was so tiny and young and now at the end of the school year I look at her and she has gotten so tall and she is so smart and thoughtful and witty! It's amazing. It really makes me realize that before I know it she will be all grown up and on her way! It makes me so sad! Congratulations Kennadee on making it through your first year of school! Alexis, Joseph, Kennadee.

Saturday, July 30, 2011. One of the days we were in Michigan we rented a Pontoon Boat and went up and down the Channel that connects Lake Michigan to some of the smaller lakes. We even went out onto the edge of Lake Michigan but with a pontoon boat we weren't allowed to go out very far on the lake. We had such a good time though! Lee driving the boat. Our Life: 1st Cavities Filled

Monday, October 1, 2012. We took Kennadee to the dentist last week and they discovered that she has 4 cavities! While we were sitting waiting for the numbing medicine to take effect she was watching Phineus and Ferb and it was the episode with "Meep" the alien. She tried to say "meep" and it came out "meepfh" with a little farting sound and she was laughing so hard. After she was all done I had to get it on video! Waiting for the medicine to kick in.
