I wish to help! I wish to help! Our pilot project was run in Bashay Village, Tanzania April - June 2015. Three teachers from Bifröst University, with the help of a local coordinator and a volunteer from Germany, assisted 52 women working on their business plans through a two week introductory session in April, followed by active assistance through our nascent entrepreneurial centre in Bashay Village. Ruthi Iraqe, Editha Florian and Lightness Paskali have opened up a tailor shop in Bashay and are selling some fabrics like vitenge, khanga, and more. The women are renting one room and any profit they make is used to buy more fabrics so they can offer bigger variety to their customers. They hoping to start to make some more profit within three months but this will depend on the number of customers.

Anna, Vidar and Resty went for a visit today. On the way they passed by Akwelina´s shop. She is one of the women who attended the Women Power course. We thank all the people who have helped us to support Elisabet and her children - it is a pleasure to see how the kids are thriving. Organic vegetable and sustainable farming.
