According to sources the Minister of Culture was invited to initiate the party by doing a ”clitoridectomy” on the cake.’. Not only should the insensitive people cutting the cake be ashamed the artist shou...

Blackfeminists: September 2011
http://blackfeminists.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 17 September 2011. Kanazawa is just a racist who went as far as to get a phd in order to impress upon the world his prejudiced views. It was a hugely insulting piece and entirely irrelevant to any questions of importance today, or yesterday, or indeed for tomorrow, but there we have it. A publicly funded (mostly - ha! Ugly while all other women at least have something of the aesthetic to recommend themselves. Hugely sexist, hugely racist. This much is obvious. I had stopped obsessing about how ...

I thoroughly enjoy the Women's History Month luncheons. I have reflected on my own parents' commitment to recognizing the impportance of our history and how we must remember it as we change our course for the better. My dad marched in the women's suffrage parades, and my mom, when she was young, started a group of diverse women interested in their cultures and histories. I hope this event continues to flourish.".
