Cindy.: What to Do When.....
http://cindyinthepresenttense.blogspot.com/2013/03/what-to-do-when.html
Thursday, March 21, 2013. What to Do When. Someone assumes if you JUST got to know Jesus as he really is, you'd be a Christian (again.). I have two off-the-proverbial-cuff responses when I get this from a (usually well-meaning) person after they've learned I'm going a different direction with my spirituality. I was vulnerable like that yesterday when I posted the link to this blog on a facebook thread. Someone commented on a picture and quote I shared from the Buddha.asking if I'd forgotten Jesus? Bad: y...

Cindy.: My Baby Yoga Recovery Program
http://cindyinthepresenttense.blogspot.com/2012/09/my-baby-yoga-recovery-program.html
Monday, September 3, 2012. My Baby Yoga Recovery Program. I feel kinda like my spiritual journey is on fast forward lately. Idle little streams I've floated in that seemed to meander down a path of their own have suddenly merged into a raging river. I'm slowly letting go of trying to control the situation or the destination.and I now can hear above the din and confusion of twirling rapids a roaring waterfall just around the bend. I know that much freedom will come as I surrender to the free fall. Tears o...

MARRIED SKINNY (with three young children): May 2009
http://marriedskinny.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
MARRIED SKINNY (with three young children). An investigative journey through weight loss. Friday, May 29, 2009. Welcome new family member! Before anyone gets too excited, please understand that the new member is not a child—at 47 years old, I consider this new family member better than a child because I'm too old to take care of an infant! We're going to have to reconfigure a part of our kitchen to make it work, but we'll make it work 'as God is my witness! Thursday, May 28, 2009. Here's to loving yourse...

One Sensitive Foodie: February 2010
http://onesensitivefoodie.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
A Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free, Nearly Dairy-Free, Food Sensitive-Friendly Blog. Spinach, Feta and Sundried Tomato Mini Quiches. We served these at our Valentine's Day Playgroup along with the Chocolate Raspberry Scones. They were tasty, and so much easier without the crust! It's a great way to get a serving of greens! I use Valebreso Feta, which is a Sheep's Feta from France. I used to buy it at Whole Foods and was thrilled to find it at Costco at a third of the cost. What a deal! Links to this post.

One Sensitive Foodie: July 2011
http://onesensitivefoodie.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
A Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free, Nearly Dairy-Free, Food Sensitive-Friendly Blog. Again, I was inspired by one of Sarah Fragoso's. 1 pound of ground turkey (Organic Prarie or Harvestland is what I usually have on hand). 1 white onion, medium chop. 2 Tbls Italian Seasoning. Dash of crushed red pepper. Salt and Pepper to taste. 1/2 each of red and green bell pepper. 1 bunch of chard and stems, rough chop. 14 ounce can diced tomatoes with juice (Costco has cases of S&W organic). Add tomatoes, heat through.

One Sensitive Foodie: Time to Change
http://onesensitivefoodie.blogspot.com/2010/11/time-to-change.html
A Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free, Nearly Dairy-Free, Food Sensitive-Friendly Blog. What a crazy diet it is in the life where food sensitivities never cease to change! Once again, my diet has taken a crazy turn. I have been diagnosed with increased intestinal permeability, or leaky gut syndrome…Nice, huh? So my mission now is to heal my intestines with healthy doses of probiotics and an anti-inflammatory diet. Fun for me! Just when I thought I figured out my diet, it drastically changed. Again. Although...
