Monday, January 21, 2008. I made a quick trip to Chicago this weekend for the funeral of my aunt Roseanne. Her death was not a suprise, but because of slow communication I found out about the 8:15 am visitation while at an away basketball game at 7:15 pm the night before. Sunday, November 18, 2007. Not a small chance. I actually am hosting Thanksgiving! There's a Small Chance. Sunday, November 11, 2007. I just finished eating a bowl of ice cream after raking the leaves. I find it enjoyable that it was warm enough outside (65 degrees) to warrant ice cream. Today was the jingle bell 5k. Friday, January 20, 2012. Myakka River State Park, one of the largest and oldest state parks. We went on an "airboat" ride on Myakka lake- a very shallow lake. It wasn't really an airboat but a big pontoon with a big fan that made it go super slow. We saw 2 crocs, the top side of them, lots of different birds and even some wild pigs. Friday, January 20, 2012. In the morning we went to walk out on the fishing pier. The house my parents are staying in is on a canal on the Myakka River. You can see their pier from their house. In the afternoon we went on a wildlife/dolphin cruise. It was cold in the wind, but sitting on the boat we got hot in the sun (and sunburned too i think). Dolphin.
