The New Small Talk. Thursday, September 9, 2010. Last weekend, while on a little getaway with friends, an interesting and disturbing topic came up. It all started when I yelled at the boys to put the seat down after they used the facilities. We (the girls) needed to explain to them the painful consequences of a toilet left wide-open. Wow, I did not realize what an ornery old man Christopher Plummer is. The Sound of Music. Audio commentary. This is not to say that he isn't wildly entertaining. Christopher Plummer hates kids. He hates them because they steal his thunder, being so darn cute and all. Julie Andrews feels somewhat the same way about the kids but has the tact to not actually say it.
