Freitag, 29. Januar 2010. Dies soll nur ne Mitteilung an alle sein, dass es uns gut geht und wir noch leben :-). Neue Fotos kommen zu einem anderen Termin. Wir sind mittlerweile in Kalkutta, und werden morgen mit einer Faehre auf die Andamanen uebersetzen (ohne Raeder, die warten in Varanasi auf unsere Rueckkehr). 4 Tage soll es dauern, 4 Tage die wir in der niedrigsten Klasse (der sogenannten Bank-klasse! Meistgefahrene Tageskilometer: 170 km ( in etwa 9 Fahrstunden). Freunde / Bekannte / andere Radler.

Donnerstag, 31. Dezember 2009. SUEDINDIEN, ein gutes neues Jahr an euch alle! Ankunft in Indien; viele Gedanken gingen uns durch den Kopf. Entweder man liebt Indien oder man hasst es, wurde uns immer wieder berichtet. Von anderen Radtravellern - die schon einmal mit dem Rad hier waren - bekamen wir den Eindruck vermittelt, dass man es mit Rad als Transportmittel eher zu hassen beginnt. So waren wir etwas eingeschuechtert, durch die vielen Erzaehlungen und Warnungen. Gemuetliche Unterkunft am Strand.

Montag, 30. November 2009. Es wird wohl einige ueberraschen, wir sind mittlerweile in Indien. Gelandet. Nach 8500 km. Auf dem Rad, entschieden wir uns einige Laender zu ueberspringen, wir waehlten den Luftweg. Den ersten Haertetest haben wir hinter uns: Vom Flughafen in die Innenstadt Mumbais mit dem Rad. Ab jetzt gehts auf der linken Strassenseite weiter - ganz schoen ungewohnt. Auf Meereshoehe, aber von Meer noch nichts zu erkennen. Unter 0, es wird tropisch. Letzte Station in Jordanien. Mittwoch, 29. April 2009. Bisher ergaben sich immer tolle Übernachtungsplätze - ich will jetzt hier mal nicht zu genau werden :), sodass wir unser Zelt noch gar nicht ausprobieren konnten. Mal schaun was diese Nacht so bringt. Anbei mal ein paar Fotos, da viele ja ganz gespannt waren wie wir mit unserem Gepäck aussehen. Unterwegs, Milch tut immer gut. Donnerstag, 23. Auf altbewaehrter Weise fuhren wir wieder weiter durch die Landschaft.Wieder einmal schlechte und gute Strassen, laute Hupen, Busdaecher voller Menschen, qualmende Auspuffe -wir werden unumgaenglich mit Raucherlunge zurueckkehren-, Landwirte bei der Reisfeldbestellung. Freitag, 2. Oktober 2009. Dank des Verpackungsgeschicks der Tuerken, zaehlen zu unseren weiteren Transportmitteln mittlerweile : Bus, Minibus, Zug, Pickup, Traktoranhaenger. Dennoch waren wir nicht faul und haben wieder etliche Kilometer gefahren ( Gesamtkilometer: 6400). Zu unserer weiteren Route:. Von Amasya aus ging es nach Tokat und Sivas. Steinmetzkunst an der Ulu Cami in Divrigi. Typische Hosen bei maennlichen Kurden. Bei Tunceli besuchten wir den Munzur Nationalpark mit wunderschoener Landschaft.
