Just another WordPress.com site. December 30, 2011. I wasn’t in my village in West Africa, so there was neither a masquerade performance. Nor a wide variety of traditional foods. It wasn’t harmattan season. And children did not run around lighting fireworks aka knock out. In my Midwest home, there was no hanging of a mistletoe. Or trimming of a tree. It wasn’t cold outside. So no need for a fireside. Christmas seemed less special without the snow. Surely there was the sharing of gifts and greeting cards,.

I couldn’t take anymore, I could only take calls at lunch hours and after work (just before the ‘not so occasional’ hang out with friends; which he disapproved *rolling my eyes*). So, yes!
