Heathbank: August 2008
http://heathbank.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
A view up the Clyde. Saturday, August 23, 2008. Michael's going to beat me to a bus pass! He's already applied for his and I can't get mine till December. Bah! Now I'll never be first with the gossip. He's getting used to the new pills after horrible side-effects meant more time off work, but he's going to change to something else anyway. Lots of useful info and support from the Southern General. Monday, August 18, 2008. At the moment Michael's here too with his pack, so the pooch count is five!

Heathbank: July 2010
http://heathbank.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A view up the Clyde. Saturday, July 31, 2010. Being a fan of redcurrant jelly, I phoned my 90 year old mother-in-law for advice. She offered to make the jelly for me and sounded really excited at the prospect. I could perfectly well have done it myself, but who am I to spoil an old lady's fun? After various telephone updates on the jelly's progress, I picked it up today - three jars of beautiful jelly for the price of a bag of sugar and one very happy MIL. Masterchef Heathbank, huh? Out of my window I ca...

Rambling Rector: March 2010

Wednesday, 24 March 2010. Spring has sprung and so have the Windows. Have been neglecting the blog of late so here comes an update. Life has been extremely hectic especially work wise as we get ever closer to opening the new Diocesan Centre at Arpafeelie. The finishing touches of any major project seen to take so long and some aspects seem unnecessasarily complicated for example obtaining a new phone line and a broadband connection. Rambling Rector: December 2010

Friday, 24 December 2010. Tuesday, 7 December 2010. Fed up with playing snowballs and making snow people? Part of the family menagerie is Halima the horse. To keep the field tidy and to provide for the roses it is necessary to clean up after the horse - a particularly interesting pass time in the snow is poo picking. I don't expect it is very likely to catch on as an Olympic Sport though! Happy Anniversary to me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Happy Anniversary to me. Breaking a car window in 1988 #TBT.

Yoblog – Musings of a Church Youth Officer. July 30, 2009, 8:36 am. I was thinking I hadn’t blogged for ages, but when you are under doctor’s orders to do nothing, there isn’t that much to tell! Somebody should hopefully be chosen in the next couple of weeks to do my maternity cover and then some action should pick up. In the meantime I’m pottering about within my limitations doing obscure nesting type tasks! July 23, 2009, 9:45 pm. Why did it have to be a cot mattress that I had ordered for our new baby?

Yoblog – Musings of a Church Youth Officer. May 31, 2009, 9:52 pm. I’m finally starting to come down from a whirlwind week. I feel like I’ve not been able to to give as much attention to several people as I would have perhaps liked ( sorry S)- a week of spreading yourself too thinly can’t always be predicted. But I’ve been touched by the kindness and understanding people have shown, especially when I’ve been stressed and gibbering! My first dabble in Messy Church. May 26, 2009, 11:16 am. I notice other b...

Friday, 23 April 2010. From Nostie it was off to the Caron Hotel for a delicious late Supper and then off over the Pass of the Cattle to Applecross for an overnight stay in one of the most comfortable B and Bs I have ever stayed in. After a hearty breakfast it was off to St Maelrubha's Church Poolewe, where after a fine buffet lunch it was time to install Father Tim into his second charge. Father Tim Daplyn is pictured left with Bishop Mark. Saturday, 10 April 2010. Happy Birthday to me. Because this week...
