Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The lamp on the table was a Goodwill find.how lovely. It is Wintertide.still.again.sigh. The snow is coming down with great fury, sometimes sideways, covering everything and anything in a coat of white. I have just returned from my sojourn outside.checking on critters, starting a fire in the greenhouse, and gathering more wood to keep the back parlour stove blazing.now it is time for tea! The curtain on the left works wonders helping my dear little kitchen to stay warm! Now, I sh...

Honey Hill Farm: Frugal Monday.....
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2008/06/frugal-monday.html
Monday, June 2, 2008. As today was a Monday and the beginning of June, I took the time to pay all of our bills and plan my menu for the month. Whilst I have reduced our monthly bills just about as far as possible, I had a bit of wiggle room in regards to my menu for June and the cost to feed my family. I am browsing all of my wonderful cookbooks and will be replacing my old cool weather menu with my warm weather concoctions! Pickles and relish are staples in this house and we will need a multitude of pan...

Honey Hill Farm: Golly Gosh it's a Post!.....
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2011/04/golly-gosh-its-post.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Golly Gosh it's a Post! Spring has sprung and it has taken me hostage with all its diversions! I have been thinking and pondering and puttering.both inside and outside.poor Dearest, I can think of far more "projects" in one afternoon than he could ever finish in a lifetime! First, our dear old home is in need of a paint job. Now I could just paint it in the existing color scheme and call it a day, but what fun would that be? The historic Hale House. Monday, April 27, 2015. I have been long away from this lovely spot and thought it high time to sit awhile and visit with you. Our greenhouse has been a tremendous source of joy and astonishment, as we are amazed at the variety of plants that not only survive, but thrive. We have had limes, one orange (we savored it) and beautiful Meyer lemons! I have had many enjoyable moments reading during this long winter.here are a few new favorites:. Little House in the Suburbs. Honey Hill Farm: October 2014
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 18, 2014. I found this little drawing from my childhood. I must have drawn this same scene 1000 times or more. I think that this one was probably from my Jr. High years, as it was amongst those papers when I came across it. It is nothing special from an artistic standpoint, but it is ever so special from a spiritual standpoint. Years passed, and I drew this scene again and again, keeping it on my young heart. We have an old farmouse, an outhouse (just like in the picture) a garden, a cl...

Honey Hill Farm: December 2014
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 25, 2014. Not a Creature was Stirring. We are all tucked inside our cozy home, enjoying each other's company, on this most precious day. I have all my "littles" (who are not really littles) under my roof, in my care, and that is truly the most wonderful gift that I could receive. I truly hope that your Christmastide is peaceful, gentle, hopeful, kind and mostly that you are surrounded by those that you love. I hope that your prayers have been answered and that you know that He list...
