Welcome to our Southern Farm. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Cival War Marker Dedication. One of the projects, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, are to dedicate markers. We recently had a dedication for a Civil War Trails Marker at the Bleak House. The Bleak House is where General Longstreet had held his headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is also the house where the soldiers shot General Sanders from the tower of the house. H.K. Edgerton. Behind the house in the beautiful gardens. Day 2 through 5.

Welcome to our Southern Farm. Sunday, August 9, 2009. Hanging out at the Lake. We had a lot of fun recently with our friends at the lake. This was just the second time we got to take our jet ski out this year. We have just been really busy. We had fun enjoying the last little bit of summer. Riding the jet skis. After we down loaded our pictures.I thought this was funny. It looks like the canoe was pulling the tube. Each summer I take a photo like this to see how much the kids are growing.

The girls and I were in the fashion show and the girls also did a demonstration of children's games of the 1800s. We made a small bed from lawn timbers and dirt that the goats had a little help in making. :). Then we marked areas for carrot seed.

Welcome to our Southern Farm. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Day 2 through 5. Sunday, we went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville, North Carolina. We decided to go back to Ghost Town. Thursday, we went to Kings Island in Ohio, with our Youth Group. Friday, on the way back home, we went to the Creation Museum in Pettersburg, Kentucky. Methuselah who lived 969 years. Welcome to our Southern Farm. Friday, September 26, 2008. Last weekend we went to Chickamauga GA. It is a very cute and historical town. I would like to go back and stay at the bed and breakfast they have there and look at all the cute stores. We just went Saturday to reenact at the 145th anniversary of The Battle of Chickamauga.
