My return to civilization, and a plea for help – wondrous

https://wondrousbeings.wordpress.com/2016/08/15/my-return-to-civilization-and-a-plea-for-help

My return to civilization, and a plea for help. August 15, 2016. August 16, 2016. I got back to civilization today. I had been in the mountains near the Sierra Buttes of California for ten days, with no internet or mobile phone access. My family and I were staying with a couple friends at a tiny resort on the shores of a small lake. There were only a few other guests and hikers that passed there. Is this abundance or scarcity? This question of what is enough, and how I want to live, is an important one, ...

Urban gloom – wondrous

https://wondrousbeings.wordpress.com/2016/07/25/urban-gloom

July 25, 2016. July 27, 2016. I took this picture at sunset in a hotel in New York. The colors and atmosphere of the weather make it my ultimate pathetic fallacy. I love it when literary terms are experienced in the real world. At the time I felt lethargic, disheartened and lost. Nothing could have better reflected this than the backdrop of creeping, snow-chilled darkness, which silently interrupted the anonymous urban gloom. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. The true purpose of this blog is yet to be determined, but here is what I know so far:. I’m figuring out how to live. This blog is my place to experiment with finding my own more wholesome way to live. Join me on my journey! August 15, 2016. August 1, 2016.

Napkins are trees – wondrous

https://wondrousbeings.wordpress.com/2016/07/28/napkins-are-trees

July 28, 2016. July 28, 2016. I once took a trip to Griffith Park in Los Angeles with my grandmother. Around noon, we got lunch at The Trails Café. As I waited nonchalantly by the counter for my food, I noticed that the box of napkins had a simple yet intriguing label written on it:. Could we then each work in our own way to tackle the major global challenges we are facing? Data and metrics might empower us as consumers, because we can know how much resources and energy went into making each napkin, and ...

Mandag den 17. august 2015. Videoblog #8 - Rip. it or Ship it!

Wondrous Publications, LLC Presents "Where Do We Go?" by James F. Weinsier

Where Do We Go? By James F. Weinsier. This book delicately explores the theme of death, with child-friendly gloves. The idea was conceived by the author after experiencing a whirlwind of personal tragedy in 2006. The loss of his father, son and grandson was compounded by a barrage of questions from other grandchildren. Wanting to create a thoughtful, reassuring response, the author wrote Where Do We Go? In hopes of assisting others with answering that very question. Where Do We Go? Laura Duksta, author of.
