The Bad News: this goat is suck suck sucking on my finger because she isn't nursing on her mama. Well, I beg to differ after last night. Bessie does ...

I had great fun making Half Square Triangles (HSTs) for the windmill squares in this quilt. Unfortunately I seem to always insist on learning through experience and, as a beginner, I made a boo-boo that I'm sure will greatly affect the quality of my finished quilt. 2 Fuzzy Robot Quilt (for David). He built a beautiful house up on his hill, looking out at the ocean. It was beautiful and unique, full of stained glass windows, and it had an octagonal living room. The coolest part about this house was the cement lizards built into the foundation. They were sculpted to look as if they were holding up the house. And here is his new house! Yesterday t...

It is super thick and heavy and WARM! I have been hand quilting it so I get to cuddle under it while I work. The denim is surprisingly not that hard to quilt through. I realized that because my favorite part of making a quilt is usually hand sewing the binding, maybe I just love to sew by hand? Yes, I do!

I am glad because it makes me seem like less of a radical! Sweet David was such a good sport, we drove around with him for hours. We walked down to the falls, they were really flowing!
