It was one of my dreams come true. 11pm on a Thursday night, driving to Uncle Yuri's home from the train station - I saw the Northern Lights. Live, in person - it was amazing. 04 February, 2008. Last night, a lady we know well died. She was only 37, had a 13-year-old son, and a husband. Her mother lives in the apartment below ours. Her husband came to our house at about 2:45AM, yelling to open the door. The rest of the night they were crying, yelling, and then early in the morning he sat on the outside steps and cried until daytime. Please pray for their family. She worked as a caretaker at our orphanage/boarding school - it's just crazy to think she's really gone.

The joy of the Lord is my strength! Sunday, May 30, 2010. I haven't ever been able to upload videos from our 7-year old desktop, so I was excited to try with our new laptop. AND IT WORKED! The video content isn't terribly exciting, but the girls' voices sure are sweet, and I just know they won't stay like this forever (at least that's what I've been told). Posted by Stephanie L. Okay So maybe I'm over-stating it a bit, but it is SO DELICIOUS! It sounded way too intimidating. As fate would have it, I was browsing the local discount grocery store the other day and I found bags of split peas for 99 cents a piece! I'll be making it a ton more now - knowing how easy and tasty it is. YUM! The World's Best Slow Cooker Split Pea Soup.
