"Aballava" was the name of the roman fort on Hadrian's Wall that was once next to the school . "Aballava" is the latin word for orchard. A roman sentry keeps guard. A roman sword or "Gladius". Julius Ceasar sailed his army in a fleet of warships to invade Britain in 54BC. An amphora as it may have been found in an archeaolgical dig. A roman burial urn.
