Hand made trinket box. With pinkeep and wool strawberry. I love creating hand made boxes.and yes, they. Do take time but the end result is truly a folk art look. Because each section of the box is hand stitched together. This trinket box is covered in cruddied gold fabric. The padded lid in a coordinating calico with reds,. Affixed to the padded lid is a cruddied pinkeep. That is filled with crushed walnut shells. The crowning jewel is the dark red wool. With decorative stitching and a green wool cap.

Dollies and more dollies. I love the look of a homemade dolly. This wonderful dolly was created using all. Old fabrics.she has a beautiful blue homespun. Dress that was actually the backing to a quilt. You will still see where the stitches were. As well as some of the quilting threads. Her face is simply drawn and her locks of. Hair are from a sheep.her apron was another. Quilt that someone never finished. Her scarf is a piece of indigo fabric from another. Batting and holds a sprig of sweet annie.
