Saturday, August 2, 2008. Yesterday I had to put Lincoln in time out 4 different times for climbing up onto the kitchen island and turning on the faucet and squirting water everywhere. Monday, February 23, 2009. Update, Tears, and Advice Wanted. The second tear jerker moment was at my parents for dinner tonight. My dad was holding and playing with Madeline, and he was humming a random little song to her. He turned to me and said, " Every time I hold Madeline, I just start singing. She makes me so happy, I just always want to sing when I'm with her." How sweet is that? And what sorts of food do you start with? I'd appreciate any input you want to give. Saturday, July 9, 2011. Madeline turned three this past week. Three years of more love and joy than I can put into words. She is such a bright, beautiful, silly, spunky, sweet, loving, large person in that little three year old body. I really adore her. She is very interested in animals, from kittens, to elephants, to hyenas. For the past several months, she has claimed that pigs are her favorite, because they are pink. But she also clarifies that she likes clean pigs, not dirty ones. :). My Man and Me.
