October | 2012 | Woollydaze

Wool and what can be done with it. Monthly Archives: October 2012. Even if I do say so myself. 9 October, 2012. I can’t be the only mother who secretly likes their child receiving invitations to parties, at the same time as cursing (inwardly) when the parties turn out to be fancy dress and ‘wear a costume if you want’. If it’s … Continue reading →. Even if I do say so myself. From sheep to needles. Everybody wants a rock. Film in the Fridge. House on hill road. I was knit together….

Wool and what can be done with it. Monthly Archives: February 2011. More Woodendaze than Woollydaze. 15 February, 2011. Hello, Woollydaze here So, what exactly is a sail shelf? Imagine you live in a family where the mother would like to display books, the father would like room for a subwoofer and the child would like somewhere for his … Continue reading →. Wool and what can be done with it. From sheep to needles. 26 February, 2012. The management at this scouring plant work hard to ensure their operation is as environmentally friendly as possible. As wool producers, it was interesting to discuss how the drugs we use on the sheep can affect the processing of the fleece. The visit has already been reported in a couple of places on the internet, so if you want more information or to see more photos you can check out:. The British Wool Marketing Board website.

Wool and what can be done with it. Monthly Archives: March 2011. Not a completer finisher. 23 March, 2011. Hello, Woollydaze here… As I believe I’ve mentioned before, I love planning a project, I like doing a project, and I’m terrible at finishing a project. I lose interest just before the finish line and wander off, looking for a … Continue reading →. 9 March, 2011. Even if I do say so myself. From sheep to needles. Everybody wants a rock. About | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/about
Another Manic Mum Day. I am a 29-year-old Manic Mum and a Wife-to-be. Our Little Lady was born in October 2008. I am rather fond of chocolate. One Response to “About”. September 18, 2009 at 3:25 am. Ooh, that’s actually quite enigmatic…! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Proud Mummy Moments | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2009/10/29/proud-mummy-moments
Another Manic Mum Day. I honestly don’t think that anything can prepare you for just how proud your child can make you feel. Even the tiniest of accomplishments can make them seem like the most advanced and intelligent being, you have ever set eyes upon. Being the most popular at the moment. Of course, I am well aware that these accomplishments are never quite as amazing or interesting to anyone else. But hell, if you can’t sing your child’s praises in your own blog, where can you? Hello, again. | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2011/02/25/hello-again
Another Manic Mum Day. Wowzer. I can’t believe how long it has been. Has it really been that long? So, an update first, I think. Little Lady is now two (and four months) and is a fully walking, talking, opinionated, creative, clever, occasionally-stroppy-but-generally-happy-and-lovely little girl. I am still at home with her, despite my efforts to find a part time-job, or to come up with a viable making-money-from-home idea. More on that later. It’s nice to be home. It’s warm and cosy here.
November | 2009 | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2009/11
Another Manic Mum Day. Archive November, 2009. Five big steps for baby, One very emotional moment for Mummy. Little lady took her very first steps on Sunday! It was amA.Z.I.N.G! I was quite surprised how emotional it made me feel, seeing her tiny little frame wander across the room. I was just absolutely gobsmacked. It honestly feels like no other baby in the world has ever done anything so utterly remarkable. So, my teeny tiny 6lb 8oz newborn, is now long gone. She is officially a TODDLER. I was absolut...
August | 2009 | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2009/08
Another Manic Mum Day. Archive August, 2009. Naturally, as any newly engaged female would do, I have been busy daydreaming about our wedding day ever since. Or perhaps that is just me? 8230; Either way, this is my excuse for the lack of posting until now. I have, quite frankly, developed an addiction to browsing the internet for The Perfect Dress. I have also been writing draft guest lists and trying to get a rough idea of what our dream day will actually cost us. All very exciting! Yes, manic…. I had ne...
March | 2011 | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2011/03
Another Manic Mum Day. Archive March, 2011. New adventures in knitting. Yep, you read that right, people… knitting. My Mum gave me the bug, after deciding to knit a gorgeous patchwork blanket for the Little Lady. (It is currently still in the process of being sewn together, but I can already see how gorgeous it is going to look. I promise to share when it is done.). I’ll almost be quite sad when that elusive warmer weather arrives and it has to be packed away until next autumn. Almost. One of those days.
September | 2009 | Another Manic Mum Day
https://manicmumday.wordpress.com/2009/09
Another Manic Mum Day. Archive September, 2009. Look at me, I’ve had a makeover! Ahhh… much better. I would, however, like to know why the font in my first ever post is different to all the rest. I don’t remember ever changing it. In fact, I don’t even know how to…. Today, my usually happy, smiley, little ray of sunshine, appears to have been replaced by some kind of screeching, whingy, whiny, raspberry blowing, hell beast. Who stole my baby? I find myself crying to anyone who will listen. Anyway, here e...

Another Manic Mum Day. Today, my usually happy, smiley, little ray of sunshine, appears to have been replaced by some kind of screeching, whingy, whiny, raspberry blowing, hell beast. Who stole my baby? I find myself crying to anyone who will listen. Anyway, here ends this whingy, whiny post. Perhaps the Evil Teething Monster’s powers are getting to me, too. Here’s hoping the next post will bring something more positive! 8230; Either way, this is my excuse for the lack of posting until now. I have, q...

Saturday, May 9, 2015. My Natal essentials review. To save time on cooking confinement food, I ordered confinement tingkat. There are some positive reviews on natal essentials on facebook groups ; most of them claimed the food portion was good and arrived warm. I stupidly believed such reviews and order 1 month. Now, on retrospection, the confinement food from TMC was much better - I tasted it when I was in hospital. The menu was also repeated every week in an uncreative manner. So by third week I wa...

Woolly Days | The World View from Wooloowin
The World View from Wooloowin. Survivors of the Hive shipwreck: Irish convicts in Australia. August 9, 2015. August 9, 2015. No wonder Australia is addicted to off-shore jails in Nauru and Manus Island, it too was founded as one, to solve a political problem. British jails were heaving in the 18. Their safety was in numbers and one in five convicts arriving in New South Wales were Irish making them a significant minority. Researcher Babette Smith was determined to challenge this view of victimhood in...

Wool and what can be done with it. Even if I do say so myself. 9 October, 2012. I can’t be the only mother who secretly likes their child receiving invitations to parties, at the same time as cursing (inwardly) when the parties turn out to be fancy dress and ‘wear a costume if you want’. If it’s a pirate party or a fireman party it’s no problem because we have those costumes to hand, but for anything else there’s inward cursing. I used the scanner and printer to blow up the heraldic lion emblem, cut it o...
