We don't remember the days. just the moments. Thursday, 27 October 2011. One Day Like This. And by the time we arrived, at around 7.30 am, birds were gathering in their thousands. Later in the afternoon when we went back to the Bittern hide for a second visit, it certainly lived up to its name. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many in one day – or.
