Canna News: Obituary to Common Sense
http://cannanews.blogspot.com/2010/11/obituary-to-common-sense.html
Monday, 8 November 2010. Obituary to Common Sense. Obituary printed in the London Times - Interesting and sadly rather true. Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:. Knowing when to come in out of the rain;. Why the early bird gets the worm;. Life isn't always fair;.

Canna News: Planting canna seeds
http://cannanews.blogspot.com/2010/02/planting-canna-seeds.html
Friday, 5 February 2010. For those who have not grown Canna from seed before, this may be a good time to start giving it some thought. The best time to plant the seeds is dependant on the facilities that you have available. If you have access to a propagator or heated greenhouse then seed can be sown as early as mid-January to early February. Given these conditions and reasonable weather in late spring and early summer we have sometimes had young seedlings burst into flower as early as mid-June. Or you m...

Canna News: Why more aquatic cultivars?
http://cannanews.blogspot.com/2010/11/why-more-aquatic-cultivars.html
