Documenting my ideas, research and progress. 24 March, 2006. My first real idea is to make a website for music bands to gain exposure to fans. To narrow down the site content, I decided to make it a local (. South Devon) site to begin with, and free for the purposes of this project. If it turns out to be a success, I can expand it nationwide, and charge for the privilege of listing a band and registering as a member. 16 March, 2006. Having no previous experience with ‘slices’, I had read that it was common practice to slice up an image, then save all the slices and put them into a table in Dreamweaver. For some reason I thought that most of this process was automatic. At the moment I’m thinking that my problems in this area are stemming from the irregular nature of the slices.
