Started in 1991 by Mari Rothman with a Sonshine Club at Chase Ave Elementary. After 25 years, Sonshine Haven now has 40 Sonshine and Higher Ground Clubs at our local elementary and middle public schools. Sonshine/Higher Ground Clubs run once a week for an hour to 1 hours. They include worship, Bible lesson, gospel invitation, memory verse, fun games, and snacks. Everything Sonshine Haven does is free for the kids and families. We operate by volunteers and are funded by donations. Us for more information.
