People are always looking for a reason, no matter the subject, natural human instinct compels us to question the origin of change. So when asked, my answer is simple… Nothing. There was never a turning point, a climax, a defining moment, a big AH HA! No light bulb went off, no moment of clarity or Zen like epiphany. BOISE — Star resident Mark Bryant has done something almost unimaginable. He lost more than half his weight in three years. At one time, Bryant weighed 442 pounds, and now he’s at 178. His story was so inspirational, he was chosen to be featured in a December issue of People magazine, which hit store shelves on December 24th. Looking at the 40-year-old now, you’d never know he used to be nearly 300 pounds bigger. Bryant says he eventually hit 442 pounds, but then a trip to the hospital changed everything.
