http://thatgirl-and-islandboy.blogspot.com/2008/07/my-bunnymy-heart.html
That girl and island boy. Random thoughts from my random brain. Thursday, July 31, 2008. My bunny.my heart. Some of you non-animal types are not going to understand this. But thats okay. My bunny Zoey is fantastic. She makes me happy in a way that I really need. Sometimes living in Nepal and being surrounded by people that only want, want, want, it gets really hard. I can feel used, burned out, sad, lonely, frustrated, and all sorts of other crazy emotions! Posted by that girl and island boy.

Thankfully it was kinda raining and we had LOTS of rain water! Which is like what we would say for "BRRRR! She took the rest home to give them for breakfast. ha ha!

That girl and island boy. Random thoughts from my random brain. Friday, June 13, 2008. Today is Friday, DATE DAY! Maika and I always go out on Fridays for a date. After the yummy Mexican food, we went to see the movie "Kung Fu Panda." It was hilarious! I love when they make movies that little kids would like and adults would also think were funny. When it comes out on DVD, we'll definitely get this one for the kids. If you get the chance, definitely see this movie! Posted by that girl and island boy.

Now its 9:45 pm and I'm so hungry I can't think of anything but food! I'm not in the US though, so if I want something, I have to cook it. What should I do? Posted by that girl and island boy. that girl and island boy: taken for granted
http://thatgirl-and-islandboy.blogspot.com/2008/06/taken-for-granted.html
That girl and island boy. Random thoughts from my random brain. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Most people reading this post probably never think about where their water is coming from when they open the tap. There is just always water there, right? In Nepal, the water situation is a different story. Many people do not have direct water to their houses, and if they do not have a well, then they do not have any water! Most poor people cannot afford to dig a well. And try to do your part to not waste it.

that girl and island boy: water fun day with the kids
http://thatgirl-and-islandboy.blogspot.com/2008/08/water-fun-day-with-kids.html
That girl and island boy. Random thoughts from my random brain. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Water fun day with the kids. Our Ashmita is such a cutie isn't she? A couple of Saturdays ago I decided that I would make a homemade slip-and-slide. If you're anywhere near the age of 30, you surely HAVE to know what a slip-and-slide is. I didn't have my own, but I have fond memories of going to Karen Bauman's house and sliding on that long, yellow slip-and-slide. It was AWESOME! Saajan and Gyalzen are good buddies.
