My advice to anyone planning on going to Cozumel: Learn to haggle. The shop owners expect it of everyone, and anyone who doesn't haggle is a fool. The only downside was that on the Saturday that half of us returned to New York, it was also the day that New York had its only snow blizzard that winter. We offered the pilot all the money we had on us to turn the plane around and head back to Nassau. After speaking with Fern who said, We are here to relax.
