Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Excitement in Strasbourg: Galette des Rois and Riots. It's been a while! It's been a little hectic here the last couple weeks, you'll have to excuse me! That are taking over the boutiques! First of all I have to tell you about the goings-on in Strasbourg yesterday afternoon! We were lucky to be able to watch from far enough away, I swear there were 1000's of people there, but they were all within a certain zone that was blocked by the police. Oh, the French and their riots!

Thursday, March 30, 2006. The first Sunday in March, eight Canadian girls went to Basel, Switzerland to discover the Carnavale festivities! First stop: Liechstal (sp? Monday, November 21, 2005. Thought it was about time that I wrote more about my last 2 weeks! I'll start with this past weekend's excitement: King's Singers in concert in Niederbronn-les-bains! I booked my ticket a few weeks ago, knowing that I could get to this little town by train but I wasn't really sure what to do after- the last train goes back to Strasbourg around 9 and the concert started at 8:30! So I eventually decided to splurge for a hotel, and even got Gwyneth (from Mt A) to come with me!

Saturday, December 17, 2005. So here is my last update before returning to Canada for Christmas holidays! I have to say I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks of home comforts and family and friends! It's been a busy week, with assignments due, Christmas shopping to be done, soirées to attend, and wallets to be lost and thankfully found again! Saturday, October 29, 2005. Off to big places. Here I go, my first big trip! This week is our Toussaint holiday so I'm heading to Montpellier to see Claudine. I'm so excited. But, sad to say, I probably won't be updating until the 6th of November or so. (then I will update big time! Have a great week everyone, talk to you all soon. Tuesday, May 09, 2006. God, I love this city. our second stop on our trip brought us to the fabulous city that once knew the likes of Mozart, Beethoven, Johann Strauss, and Schubert.
