Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Well, what can I say.we traveled 17 days this month.oh, my! We, as the BESTEST parents in the world, are showing our kids some lovely parts of God's great world! We have been so very blessed with the means and opportunity to travel both by car and plane. Our most recent trip was to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was wonderful, beautiful, and serene! The food was soooo good.we both gained weight, even with working out. So now we have to get our butts in gear! I love this pic of us!

Sunday, August 16, 2009. A Bridal Shower for Amber! We had a lovely time at Amber's house yesterday for her bridal shower. Amber and Chris got a lot of goodies to start their life together. It is hard to believe that their wedding is coming up so soon! I still remember holding Chris as a baby. And now he is getting ready to start his own family. Yikes.now I feel old.again. I am so happy for them and wish them the best. They make the cutest couple! Where does the time go? We still have to keep on kee.

Saturday, June 20, 2009. Oklahoma Trip: by Lori. Well, we are back home, safe and sound. We stayed on Grand Lake in north east OK (Monkey Island to be exact.and no, we did not see any swinging in the trees). It was just beautiful.hot, but peaceful. A nice wind off the lake seemed to cool things off a little and kept alot. Yes, Lou saved Savannah from the big, bad croc. He only needed 10 stitches! This emu kept eyeballing Lou, not sure if it wanted to kiss or kick him, though! Thursday, June 11, 2009.

Friday, July 2, 2010. 7/02/10 Darn.No one walked the plank today! We had such a beautiful day boating with Shannon and the kids! Perfect weather and the perfect captain.my sexy pirate, Lou! After a leisurely cruise, we stopped for some swimming fun at a sand bar on the Illinois River. The kids had a blast! It was not too busy on the river. It was like we had the whole water way to ourselves! What a great day! Bummer.the kids were so well behaved! No one had to walk the plank.this time!
