The ups and downs of my 27 months living and working in rural Ethiopia. And just like that, it’s over. July 10, 2015. It has been over two years since I have been on American soil and TOMORROW I will be back! Wow It’s pretty hard to believe. Two years in Ethiopia have come and gone and what felt like all the time in the world now feels like an instant. I am not sure if I now have more or less questions about this baffling place than I did before! Did you like Ethiopia? What did you do there? I don’t know...

The ups and downs of my 27 months living and working in rural Ethiopia. April 11, 2015. Now that I know what my next step is, time is starting to come into focus. I will be leaving Ethiopia in three months. Wow. All of a sudden I am feeling like I have so much to do and so little time. Workeh last easter with her nephew.

The ups and downs of my 27 months living and working in rural Ethiopia. Still going strong in year two. November 26, 2014. 50 students was WAY too many, don’t want to make that mistake again. The pilot program from girl hub is over but we will continue to meet as a girls club every Sunday. The girls want to put together a drama to perform for other students, so I will try to organize that with them! Hopefully after a couple months I’ll have a cool new video for you that depicts my town and my students.
