World Cultures Znosko - Things Fall Apart
http://worldcultureschrisznosko.weebly.com/things-fall-apart.html
It has been three years since Ikemefuna moved in with Okonkwo. Nwoye really liked having Ikemefuna around and Okonkwo thought that Nwoye has grown into a man because of Ikemefuna. The locusts come to Umuofia for the first time in many years and the village people are excited to eat them.yum! Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview. Do you think Lakshmi’s own ama would treat her the same way upon her return? Did you suspect bad intentions on the part of the "auntie" and "uncle" who escorted Lakshmi? I found it interesting how much the village was looking forward to the wrestling match. Then, if the person wins, they become extremely popular and are basically looked at as being a hero. Okonkwo was able to become very respected when he won, and now others are able to continue on in the tradition that has been going on for quite sometime. I enjoyed this chapter. It showed unification in the town when a clansman (especially one as old as Ezeudu). Everyone respected this man, and I liked how they went to such extreme measures to signifiy his life, death, and legacy. I feel bad for Onkonkwo though. He didn't mean to shoot his son! Onkonkwo was definitely worried about Ezinma. I think it's kind of cute that he actually cares about someone. Not to mention that it's a women! I figured he would only ever like men! She must be special. O. I know ...

What happens when Monica leaves the brothel to return to the family she has supported? Do you think Lakshmi’s own ama would treat her the same way upon her return? What about her stepfather? What makes you think so or not? When Monica left the brothel to return to her family, her father told her to leave. They wouldn't let her come back because she was basically shameful. I felt bad for her becuase she only did it to pay for her father's surgery and her child. What does Lakshmi learn from them? The girls...

Every man learned the language ofthe hollowed-our wooden instrument. In the middle of the night the men heard women screaming and they listened to the language of the ekwe. They learned that Ezeudu was dead. They held a warrior's funeral for him. All of the men beat drums and fire their guns. Okonkwo's gun accidentally went off killing Ezudu's son. What else could go wrong in this book? Why can't he just accept everyone the way they are? I really can't stand him! THIS BOOK IS TERRIBLE! The wrestling matc...

I really really enjoyed the story about the tortiose at the beginning of this chapter. I thought that it was entertaining and it tought a lesson. Those are the best kind of stories! I thought that the story about the ear and the mosquito was really cool. I like the myths that this novel has, because I find them so interesting. In a myth anything can happen. A mosquito can ask an ear to marry it! Does a man marry as many wives as he can so he can get many plates of food? He was just eating dish after dish!
