兵庫県の世界遺産とは

姫路城は、1993年に法隆寺 奈良県 屋久島 鹿児島県 白神山地 青森県 秋田県 と一緒に、日本初の世界遺産に登録されました 文化遺産として登録。 また、天守群を中心に櫓 門 土塀といった建造物や、石垣 堀などの土木建築物が良好に保存されていることや、防御に工夫した日本独自の城郭の構造を最も示した城であることなども理由に挙げられています。 その理由には、黒い板張りの岡山城 烏城 うじょう と呼ばれていた に対して白漆喰総塗寵造 しろしっくいそうぬりごめつくり であるから、城の位置する丘が鷺山とも呼ばれていたためなど諸説あります。 城内の上山里丸と呼ばれる広場には、 播州皿屋敷 に登場するものといわれる お菊井戸 があります。
