Our team is exhausted. a lot of uncertainty arose today as we were questioned by security guards and a long day of waiting. please pray for clairty for our team and deep meaningful rest. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Today we are going to a church to play with kids and talk with teenagers. We are all really excited to move from the role of tourist to one of minsitry. It will be a good transition to learning how to relate in ministry to the nationals. Then later this afternoon we are flying (no longer boating) to Cebu where we will be doing more intensive ministry. WE made it to Peru! We face painted and played with parachutes! They have arrived safely! We hope to hear more from them soon!

Wednesday, June 3, 2009. I'm sitting here at my favorite restaraunt in Kratie, Cambodia, 11 days after my left for America, informing you that they have safely arrived. =) If you were waiting to hear this news from me, I appologize for the delay. The team left Friday May 22, and arrived home the following evening. I am staying 3 more weeks to minister. Thank you for you prayers and support! A group photo at Ankor Wat. She hasn't quite grasped how to make it turn on her own so she brings it to daddy and he spins it for her. Way to be resourceful! She loves her baby dolls. Great Grandma Shanks gave her this baby bed. She tucks her babies in and covers them with all of their blankets. Leah got a new chair from mamaw. The only real way to try it out is with a good book and sippy cup!
