Relaxen op een eiland in de Seine. Vlak buiten Parijs (westelijk) vinden we het Ile de la Jatte. Midden in de Seine. Het eiland was in de 19e eeuw al populair , Seurat schilderde er met enige regelmaat. En deze plek is nog steeds populair bij Parijzenaars om even uit te waaien en wat verkoeling te zoeken. Al een jaar of 10 is een curieus oud fabrieksgebouw omgetoverd tot restaurant. In Café de la Jatte. En sinds kort is er nog een aantrekkelijk restaurant op Ile de la Jatte . Restaurant Petit Poucet.
