We feel so blessed to have found this church and for Caroline to have the opportunity to grow in her faith in such a place. Wonderful cake by Kelli Phipps! Caroline with GiGi and Sassy (she hadn't seen GiGi for a few days, can you tell? Papaw and JoJo (Jeffrey's grandparents came to Tupelo for the baptism. She has defied the odds that swirled in our heads for months after we heard them and read them on paper - 85-95% chance of severe mental retardation; "will be great if he/she SITS UP BY 3 YEARS OLD;" probability of death. Thursday, August 6, 2009. I admit that I'm a bit anxious about getting out with Caroline. We made our first trip by ourselves to my parents' house (Papa and Gigi's) on Tuesday. I was a nervous wreck the entire drive. I didn't even make it out of the neighborhood before stopping to make sure she was okay in her carseat. She just looks so. Friday, October 30, 2009. Ava's 1st Halloween Party. Ava attended her 1st Halloween parties yesterday. Her class at daycare partied all day long. Ava was responsible for taking 7 bananas to class. Daddy picked her up from school (a.k.a. daycare) and took her out to the Outpatient Rehab Halloween Party at the Hippotherapy Barn. Ava was dressed as a peacock and she was so cute! Thursday, November 26, 2009. I am sorry for taking so long to post. We have had a busy few weeks. Ava is doing a lot of new things. She has begun to transfer from laying on her stomach to sitting up, sitting up to laying on her stomach, she has 2 teeth now, and has all of sudden become a shy little girl. She is growing like a weed! She has had her MMR and Chicken Pox shots as well as the 1st RSV shot of the season and 1st round of the flu shot. We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.
