Friday, November 30, 2007. We got word today that our case was submitted to PGN on Tuesday, November 27. Wahoo! Once we get the approval here, the birth mother will sign for the fourth and final time and William will legally be our child. He will get a new Guatemalan birth certificate with our names on it. The adoption will be final and there will only be the 2nd DNA test and the interview at the US Embassy to complete immigration requirements. We're getting close! Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Will is a WATKINS! Got the new birth certificate on February 13, 2008. Will is officially a Watkins although his birth certificate lists his first and middle names as Luis Felipe. We will change his name to William Luis when we readopt him in Tennessee after he gets home. Now we're just waiting for the DNA test and the passport. After the US Embassy gets the DNA they will email us to come and pick him up! Such a lucky little boy. February 19, 2008 at 10:13 PM. Our Family of 5.

I'm cautious about what I post because I don't want to encourage destructive behavior. The Wende Museum has ten panels of the Berlin Wall on display.
