Saturday, June 20, 2015. Back in October, the Streett clan took its first trip outside of Tegucigalpa and visited the Mayan Ruins of Copan. (I'm not counting our 1-day cruise ship stop in Roatan last Christmas.) Neither kid seems to be designed for long car rides unfortunately. But we made it before dark to all our intended stops! Wednesday, March 12, 2014. The Streetts made it to Honduras! It feels nice to finally put the foreign in the Foreign Service. I (E) am well entrenched in her job already, I am a tad worried that they set her out on her own too quickly! Hopefully I don't make too many mistakes! I really like the team I work with and enjoy going to work each day. Luckily, our newly hired gardener washes the car too! He puts the world to shame! Friday, December 20, 2013. God Never Gives Up. Our team here has had contact with Almir’s* family for years now. He is one of 7 children and there is no doubt that God has been at work in the life of this family. A few years ago, Almir’s older sisters became very involved with the children’s ministry and summer camps. Unfortunately, over time, they became less involved and they drifted away from contact with us. God, however, was far from giving up on this family. Almir was not so interested in the movie.
