So exciting that there are lots of weddings for my friends in 2011 and 2012 to attend! What better way to spend a rainy Saturday. Than to prepare for the first of many bridal showers. The Adventures of a Gibbs Girl. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Sewing project #1 for 2011 is done. I have officially made my first man apron: MApron. This MApron is special because when I was in Copenhagen I went to the most incredible shop with fabrics and trinkets. I couldn't pass up the patriotic fabric:) It's a reversible apron too! Did I mention it is also special because it was made for someone. I know, I know, all my crafts are made for special people:). Next project= Birthday treats! Ahhhh, love it!

The Adventures of a Gibbs Girl. Monday, January 25, 2010. What NOT to do. Much to my dismay, my perfect job is NOT baking cakes! It may be sewing aprons, and it might be home decor, but I can for sure rule out cake decorating! Enjoy the pictures, they are good for a few laughs:). Picture of my 2nd attempt at baking a cake.
