The road to tri, and stuff. On July 13, 2015. The last couple months have been exceedingly busy between work, life, and trying to exercise in pursuit of my potentially over-ambitious endeavor to become a Paratriathlete. A couple days before the rideATAXIA NorCal. Event, I received response to my application, accepting me into the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Paratriathlon Camp the end of August. Yeah, I am more than a little excited! Again end of this month, and have a new Garmin Forerunner 920xt.

CAF Swim Clinic at Nike. On May 22, 2015. At recommendation by Carly from Oregon Disability Sports. I signed up and was able to participate in my first Challenged Athletes Foundation. CAF) event this last Saturday, May 16, 2016. While I’ve been able to get myself swimming up to a mile and a half pretty proficiently over the years, it’s all been self taught, with no formal instruction on really honing my technique.
