This part is my theory. But probably fact. A Worle’s End devoid of trees, as it once was, would give a perfect sightline to all the other high points in the region. From here, our ancestors could have contacted their neighbours on visible elevated ground. And, I believe, they did. And who, in turn, were the neighbours able to communicate with?
