Monday, April 25, 2011. Well, I guess it's about time to update the ol' blog and change out the snowflake backdrop.especially since my own Dad had deleted the blog address and said "Oh, I didn't know you were still doing that". Ha! The Nelson household is busy these days! Taking care of two and a half year old Austin is a full time job and we are trying to get everything ready for Baby Sissy's (as Austin calls her) arrival in the spare time. Only a few more weeks until we will be a family of four!

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Our family was blessed to welcome Allison Lee Nelson (Allie) on June 1st at 1:13pm. She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long. We had a planned c-section and everything went very smoothly. Allie was the sweetest baby the whole time we were at the hospital - very mild tempered and sleepy! We are really enjoying being a family of four and loving on our sweet new baby girl. Here are some pictures from Allie's Birth Day:. Last picture as a family of three. Ready to meet Allie.

Sunday, June 27, 2010. Four of Austin's best friends have birthdays within three weeks of each other, so we have a month long circuit of birthday parties to attend. We kicked off the month with a fun pool party for Cassidy's 4th birthday. Austin loved playing in the pools and was worn out when we left! Thanks Cassidy for such a fun party! Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Scott took Austin on what I am hoping becomes an annual Father-Son beach trip a few weeks ago. While I was being a Bahama Mama (pretty easy transformation for me! Scott took Austin to visit his parents at their beach house. Scott took excellent care of Austin.at least that is what he tells me and they both came back in one piece, so I'll take it! Tuesday, August 31, 2010. We decided to try out the pizza dough from the Publix bakery and make our own pizza for dinner one night last week. Austin was a big help as you can see. Austin was kind of in amazement I actually gave him the rolling pin to hold. Rolling out the dough. Sous Chef Austin adding some mushrooms. Austin thinks it will be "Yummy in the Tummy". Thursday, May 26, 2011. Last Day of 2 year old Preschool. Tuesday was Austin's last day of 2 year old preschool at Riverchase UMC. We have loved our time at Riverchase and are a little sad to be leaving their preschool program, but my gas tank will thank me for it!
