Saturday, December 20, 2008. We have a WALKER! True to form, our little diva decided that exactly one week after her first birthday, it was time to get up and go! She had been doing the "cruising" thing for a few weeks, and finally she decided to take her first steps. I think she knew Christmas was around the corner, and she decided that would be a great day to debut her new walking abilities. Enjoy watching our little Princess take her first steps. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Wednesday, April 16, 2008. 4 month check up. Penny went to Dr.Douvris on Monday for her 4 month check up.and all is great! She is now 13 lbs 13 oz (13 really must be our lucky number in this family! And she is now 24' long. Doc is still keeping her on the acid reflux medicine, but he didn't increase it, in hopes that as she gets bigger her body will wean itself. We also got the green light for solids! Looks like that is a possibility! Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Rolling over....

Sunday, November 30, 2008. Yet another fabulous Thanksgiving. This year was much better than last year, mostly because:. 1) This year Penny is here. 2) This year I'm not 11 months pregnant, and I can actually enjoy the food instead of filling up on two bites! As usual, the crowd gathered in Freehold for food, fun, and football. Penny had a blast, probably because she was the center of attention! Hmmmsound like anyone you know? Thursday, January 15, 2009. Oh, the dreariness of January. Nothing is worse than 30 degree temps, snow, no sunlight, and being stuck indoors. Yuck. Penny did find a way to pass the time, though. Her new favorite toy is her diaper basket. Don't worry, they are clean diapers (but diapers nonetheless! She will spend hours playing this game.take diapers out, put diapers in. Out, in, out, in. Repeat, repeat, repeat. I guess this means Penny will have inexpensive taste in toys? We'll have to wait and see.

Saturday, July 26, 2008. Penny's toes have been a source of constant amusement since she discovered them. She'll sit for as long as I let her just sucking on her toes. It's very cute :). Will our little princess be a cheerleader? Or maybe a gymnast? I don't know, but I do know that she certainly has the flexibility! She must take after her Mom. If back in January someone told me how fast this year would go, I wouldn't have believed them. But alas, time flew, and here we are with our little one year old princess.
