Suddenly one day my mac started working slowly and I could hear my fans running on full throttle. On checking the activity monitor, I noticed that the DirectoryService process was consuming a lot of my CPU. First I’ll tell you what worked for me then about the other threads I went through. Just kill the kies wifi service if you have it installed.

After installation of Cyanogen mod, however I had a couple of problems. Firstly My WiFi stopped working for some networks. To be specific, when ever I tried to share internet from my MacBook Pro, Neo V did not recognize the networks. However I could connect to networks at my office. This was a strange problem. What worked for me.
