http://filament-textileart.blogspot.com/2014/04/february-2014-our-fragment-challenges.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. February 2014 - Our "Fragment" Challenges. Susan set three challenges so we could start exploring our theme for 2014 “Fragment”. We were each given a small piece of black and white fabric to be placed onto a black fabric background, stitched using black and white thread only and to be completed in 10 minutes. We each selected three thin strips of fabric and the challenge to produce an item. Our Black and White 10 minute challenge. Fabric strips - Wow. 2014 Exhibition - "Fragment".

Button-it: January 2008
http://button-it.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 15 January 2008. I've been longing to sort out my craft and needlework bits for ages and finally got to it today. I looked at buying another storage unit but gave up and came home to find the perfect one lurking on the garage! It's not very pretty but I might give it a coat of paint when I get the chance. I feel very organised now and even found baskets, shoe boxes and other bits to fit. And it is the perfect place to show off my assemblages. Sunday, 13 January 2008. Saturday, 12 January 2008.

Button-it: Nature walk
http://button-it.blogspot.com/2010/05/nature-walk.html
Saturday, 22 May 2010. Beautiful sunny, warm day so we went for a nature walk in the fields about 2 miles from home. Lambs, bluebells, buttercups, apple blossom and a beer were all to be seen! Obviously the beer has nothing to do with nature but it was refreshing after the walk! And we came across the cutest little house ever! We've lived in Kent for over 25 years and never seen it before! Tuesday, 8 June 2010. Spring at Painshill Park, Cobham Surry. Yesterday I was lucky enough to have an extra day off school so I had a day trip to Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey - just off the A3. A complete undiscovered treasure with landscaped gardens, crazy follies and amazing wildlife, it was almost deserted on a changeable Monday. Here are some highlights. I just love these guys - 15 cygnets in 2 clutches all preening themselves after a swim in the lake with Mum! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
